California Mother Loses Her Whole Family In A Car Crash

A mother in California has lost her whole family after a tragic car crash last weekend. The devastating accident was mentioned recently on Instagram. Her husband, her 3-year-old daughter and her 9-month old baby all died in the collision, which happened on Freeway 91 early morning on July 9.

The mother posted a note on Instagram that she was nothing without her two babies and her heart has been forever broken. She said that they were her lifeline and she would have traded her life for all of theirs.

The collision happened a little after 1 a.m. The 33-year-old father of two was driving in a Jeep with both of his kids in the car when another car hit the back of a gas-tanker. That collision caused another collision with the Jeep, which sent it out of control into the center median. The Jeep was hit again, causing it to flip upside down, and then it was hit by a BMW. Amazingly, the BMW driver escaped without injury.

The woman has started a GoFundMe account in order to raise money for her family. As of last reports, the account had already generated $30,000 in donations.

When a California resident suffers the loss of a family member in a car accident that happened due to no fault of the deceased person, it could warrant investigation to determine if a wrongful death claim for financial damages can be made. Although no amount of litigation and no amount of money can ever right the wrong of losing someone due to negligence or unlawful behavior, a wrongful death claim can be a very important way of seeking closure for those left behind.
