Mopeds are even smaller than motorcycles, which is why a lot of people like them. They’re great for zipping around the city. They barely use any gas, they’re far cheaper to buy than many motorcycles or cars and they offer an economic option.
Unfortunately, that small size also comes with risks. It’s far more likely that a moped rider will be injured in an accident with a car. Mopeds are also small enough that other drivers may simply not see them; this is also an issue with motorcycles and bicycles. Below are a few tips that can help riders stay safe:
